Betty Cooke: The Circle and The Line
Betty Cooke: The Circle and The Line is a 4,500 sq ft exhibition featuring the works of Baltimore Designer Betty Cooke. It explores the themes and expressions in Cooke's jewelry practice spanning from the 1940s to the present.
Running September 19, 2021, through January 2, 2022, at the Walters Art Museum.
Through the design of this exhibition, we hoped to highlight the importance of the shapes and use of negative and positive space in Betty's work by accentuating some of those forms as murals in the gallery. We also used these painted forms to break the confines of cases and walls by painting several of them to blend into the designs.

Working closely with a living artist was an incredible learning opportunity and our collaboration created an immersive and almost surreal experience for the visitor. Every detail was considered, from the photographs, video and colors chosen, to each individual angle in which the jewelry is displayed.
